All Things Spam! Empty All Things Spam!

What is Spam?
Repeatedly posting the same post or topic in a forum, or across multiple forums, is considered spamming. Such posts will be locked, edited or removed. Intentional off topic or nonsense posting is also likely to be considered spam and will receive the same treatment, especially if this takes an existing thread off topic. This applies to both written text and image posting. Forum spam consists of posts on Internet forums that contains related or unrelated advertisements, links to malicious websites, trolling and abusive or otherwise unwanted information.

Duplicate posts/topics:
Please search before posting! I am sure most, if not all of you are aware of this rule. We say this not to nag, but to remind - it makes life much easier for everyone if one would simply check and see if there has been another topic regarding the same issue made.

Backseat Modding:
Backseat Moderating is when people who are not Moderators try to enforce the forum rules. Although we do appreciate the enthusiasm of trying to keep your forum community in line, backseat modding is considered spamming - there are assigned moderators for a reason. Whenever you see a person spamming, there is no need to point it out with "stop spamming!!" simply ignore the offensive post(s) or thread, and if you feel necessary- notify a moderator.

Bumping Topics:

Bumping is permitted once an hour - bumping too soon is considered spam, especially in this slightly smaller Forum Community, where bumping more than one hour apart is not even necessary. Posting updates is not considered a bump, however if you are deliberately "updating" your topic to act as a way of getting in more bumps, all excess 'updates' will be deleted. Bumping old categories is allowed- IF you are adding on an informative post. If you think of something else you want to add to the thread, please use the Edit button rather than making multiple posts in a row as this may also be seen as spamming, whether intentional or not.

Rude Messages/Arguments:
Please be respectful of all users- any messages meant to insult or harass another person is not permitted. Disagreement and debates are fine - but do not get personal, please.

Chain Quotes:
This is a chain quote:
All Things Spam! Ofnoxzd
Needless to say, Not only is that frustrating and space consuming, it also makes the thread very cluttered.

Self-Promoting Topics:
Please do not make a topic saying "Like/Follow me on >>insert social media website<< that is what this topic is for: Post your social media links here!

Unrelated Topic Titles:
Please try and make your topic title as relevant as possible! your title should sum up what your topic is about. Quirky, amusing ways of stating such things is, of course, permitted, but a title such as "I love chocolate" for a BST title, although eye-catching, is considered spam. This will help users to find topics when searching.

How many times are we allowed to post in a forum game topic? Is there a specific limit per day?

Well, in terms of time, there isn't really a "daily limit" but a good "rule of thumb" would be no more than 5 posts per page for the Game Topics... but considering how we don't have a huge population of registered users so far, these rules are still pretty lenient and subject to change.

Although back to back posting on Game Topics is definetly considered spam, meaning:

Person 1 posts
Person 2 posts
Person 1 Posts
Person 2 Posts
etc. etc.
